Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Cosmetologist to join our team.
As a Cosmetologist, you will provide a wide range of beauty services to our clients, including haircuts, styling, coloring, and various salon treatments.
Your creativity and expertise will help our clients enhance their natural beauty and boost their confidence.
If you are able to provide skin care, waxing or nail care is a bonus.
Duties:
- Perform haircuts, styling, and coloring services according to client preferences
- Provide hair treatments such as deep conditioning and scalp massages
- Perform manicures and pedicures, including nail shaping, cuticle care, and polish application
- Conduct facials, including cleansing, exfoliating, and applying masks
- Perform waxing services for hair removal
- Offer makeup application for special occasions or events
- Provide product demos and recommend suitable beauty products to clients
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the salon
- Assist with front desk duties such as scheduling appointments and handling payments
Requirements:
- Valid cosmetology license in the state of Pennsylvania
- Proven experience as a Cosmetologist or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of cosmetology techniques, including color theory and hair threading
- Familiarity with front desk operations in a salon setting
- Strong customer service skills to ensure client satisfaction
- Knowledge of barbering techniques and straight razor shaving is a plus
- Proficiency in using salon software (Leprechaun) for scheduling and record keeping
