ISO Min 2bd/1+bath Home with Yard (Pittsburgh)

Looking for a basic home for me and my daughter and our pets.
I used to be able to find legit ads and people with rental homes, now they are all say "send me your phone number so we can send details" WHAT?! Why? You just responded to an email and could have already typed out the information that I asked for.
I am not a scammer, only been in PA a year, relocated here after my son was murdered in the Army.
I work remotely and make a modest income.
I used to own a remodeling company back in my younger years, so I am handy and capable of fixing minor issues in the house, completely redo flooring and interior painting.
