Location/Division Specific Information The Regional Marketing Manager – Animal Health / Microarray, North America is part of the commercial organization that supports these business unit portfolio which provides high-value genomic data to assist critical decisions in research, academia, biopharma, biotechnology, and applied markets.
This is an exciting, visible, and dynamic position within an amazing team! This position is Remote – US Discover Impactful Work In this regional marketing role, you will coordinate the development and implementation of regional campaigns and globally developed programs to support revenue objectives for the Microarray and Animal Health portfolio.
This will report into the Manager of Vertical Market Development, North America Regional Marketing, with additional responsibilities and duties as assigned.
A Day in the Life Build and implement regional marketing campaigns, programs, and tactics to support revenue goals for the business, acting as VOC for the North American region.
Develop and implement a successful plan to achieve financial and market goals for designated portfolios including instruments and consumables.
Develop, manage, and report on portfolio-specific marketing plans, tactics, and roadmaps from concept to completion alongside other regional and global marketing managers.
Analyze and interpret data to identify new market opportunities, ensure a healthy marketing funnel, and inform on broader opportunities for the business.
Analyze, interpret, and report on campaign effectiveness to stakeholders, including commercial leaders.
Collaborate with commercial partners to develop meaningful tools that make an impact towards incremental revenue growth.
Develop and implement tools to promote sales force effectiveness and engagement with assistance from relevant partners.
Manage marketing budget, important metrics, and roadmaps to ensure timely execution and adherence to plan.
Influence global, product management, & regional cross-functional teams as an individual contributor to ensure regional needs are met for key channels and customer segments.
Keys to Success Education: Bachelor’s degree required (Master’s degree preferred) preferably in molecular biology, genetics, biology, microbiology, and/or cell biology or related field.
Experience: Demonstrated ability in a Life Sciences marketing or product marketing, preferably with marketing experience microarray technologies.
A strong marketing performance history spanning from marketing strategy to tactical execution including web, ecommerce, seminars, conferences, social and other digital channels.
Preferred: Sales, marketing, and/or lab experience in genomics technologies such as real-time PCR (qPCR), digital PCR (dPCR), sequencing, or microarrays.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Flexible self-starter with ability to quickly adapt to evolving business needs.
Knowledge of the biotechnology market, key competitors, and technology applications.
Analytical skills with the ability to identify solutions based on data.
Effective interpersonal, social, and presentation skills, both online and in-person, including to business leadership teams.
Ability to monitor and continuously improve overall marketing efficiencies.
Experience with Agile principles in a large matrixed organization.
Proactive and fast learner.
Travel: approximately 15-25% within North America.
