*Position Summary:*
The Area Account Representative is a pivotal role based in Pittsburgh, designed for a confident and customer-focused veterinary professional with a passion for elevating the standard of care in veterinary medicine through education and training.
This full-time position aims to promote the growth and utilization of S.
R Scientific products while assisting veterinarians in delivering exceptional care to pets and their families across the United States.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* Consult with practice owners and veterinarians, predominantly face-to-face, to advise on medical standards and diagnostic protocols, thereby enhancing the quality of care they offer to their clients.
* Deliver education, training, and support to veterinarians and key clients, fostering positive influences on patient outcomes.
* Collaborate with and contribute to the skills development of the S.
R Scientific team, offering technical training related to diagnostic education.
* Serve as the representative of S.
R Scientific to key customers, Key Opinion Leaders, and organizations within the veterinary industry.
* Support and reinforce the medical message and positioning of our products.
*Position Responsibilities:*
* Develop and maintain a strong understanding of Diagnostic products and services.
* Travel extensively to engage with practice owners, veterinarians, and key clients, predominantly in-person.
* Provide comprehensive education and training to enhance diagnostic capabilities and improve patient care.
* Collaborate closely with the S.
R Scientific team, offering technical training and expertise related to diagnostic education.
* Act as the primary point of contact representing S.
R Scientific to key customers, Key Opinion Leaders, and industry organizations.
* Ensure alignment with and support the medical message and positioning of our products.
*Education and Experience:*
* Demonstrated experience in veterinary medicine.
* Strong passion for enhancing the standard of care through education and training.
* Minimum of an Associate's degree (Bachelor's degree preferred) with a veterinary background.
*Technical Skills and Competencies:*
* Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
* Proven ability to influence and educate medical professionals.
* Proficiency in delivering technical training and education.
* In-depth knowledge of veterinary protocols and standards.
* Ability to represent the company professionally to key stakeholders.
* Collaborative and supportive team player.
*Additional Requirements:*
* This is a full-time position.
* Anticipated travel within the United States is required.
* Valid Driver's License and auto insurance.
