Senior Account Executive, Pittsburgh (Hybrid Work Structure)
The Role:
BCW is looking for a Senior Account Executive to join our Pittsburgh team.
This person will be a creative thinker and collaborative team player who can drive the execution of campaigns and earned media results.
Candidates should have experience with supporting integrated communications programs for organizations ideally in B2B, financial and manufacturing spaces.
You will be serving as the daily point-of-contact and counsel for traditional PR and digital media programs.
This is an opportunity to combine creative and strategic execution for campaigns across multiple platforms for high-profile brands and have an impact in our Pittsburgh team, known for mission-based work and growing work environment.
What is the work? Media and Content (traditional, digital, social) key message development and campaign management Develop long-form technical content including bylines, white papers and news releases Review materials (e.
g.
pitch letters, news releases, backgrounders, fact sheets, bios, newsletters) Bring fresh thinking to earned media strategy and brand storytelling to deliver coverage results Partner with Client and other communications firms (i.
e.
ad agencies) to develop and complete integrated communications plans Contribute to program development for the Client as well as research, design, develop, implement and manage routine client projects Help manage all day-to-day client activities, projects, and team member workstreams Provide strategic counsel to clients and key internal stakeholders Flesh out new ideas as they relate to client objectives and brings them to life in presentations and written proposals Serve as point of contact for reporters, representing the Client brand in press releases and timely response to media inquiries Help manage project financials; client budgets, team capacity planning and vendor management Assist senior leaders in proposal writing and new business pitching and requests for proposals Experience that contributes to your success: 3+ years of work experience in the Public Relations field Excellent writing and editing skills Expertise in integrated media relations programs with established relationships with Trade and National press outlets Ability to understand complexities of audiences and nuancing strategy, messaging and tactics for each Experience with influencer relations Advanced presentation skills, strong and persuasive communicator Strong project management skills Desire to work in a diverse and inclusive organization as an active participant in culture initiatives, training opportunities and employee resource groups Perks of Working at BCW: Paid time off for vacation, sick and personal days, as well as Summer Fridays and a Flexible Holiday Policy with 9 paid holidays annually.
