Global Product Marketing Manager, Shoulder Robotics and Technologies (Pittsburgh, PA)

The Global Product Marketing Manager, Shoulder Robotics and Technologies, will play a key role in driving the Robotics and Technology-enabled Shoulder portfolio for our global markets.
The colleague will be partnering closely with the marketing and R&D teams within our Pittsburgh Robotics headquarters as well as our Shoulder implant teams.
This role will require frequent interaction and communication with people at all levels of the business, including executives in our commercial, technical, financial, regulatory and legal functions.
What will you be doing? Development and execution of the of product development strategy and go to market tactics for S+N robotics and technology-enabled shoulder portfolio.
With assistance from the respective marketing and R&D teams, develop business cases and global growth initiatives.
Collaborate with global marketing teams across each region to develop robust go to market strategies, commercial launch excellence and measurable impact to the robotics and shoulder implant business.
Partner with business, development, and PMO teams to ensure key milestones are met throughout the development projects, including milestones, resources, and budgets.
Establish market and product requirements for products, including product positioning, value proposition, business models and pricing.
Management and influence of Shoulder Design and Advisory Boards to collaborate with leading KOL’s on the development and commercialization of Shoulder Robotics.
Manage interactions with key opinion leaders, including focus groups, usability studies, cadaver labs, and initial clinical cases related to the products developed under the partnership.
In close collaboration with the product, medical education, sales, marketing, regulatory affairs, and clinical teams, establish and continuously improve the content, delivery model, and teaching faculty to deliver world class training programs for internal and external audiences.
Understand competitive and emerging technologies and their impact on robotic surgery and the digital OR.
Gather market intelligence and report on macro market dynamics, competitive information, competitive and emerging technologies, key procedural trends, and clinical data that would impact our business and shape commercial planning.
Develop global go to market strategies focused on digital, social and market development.
Strong collaboration and partnership with the Global Shoulder implant teams to drive robotically-enabled procedural solutions for the global markets.
Work strategically with each regional marketing and sales teams to create demand, enable sales, increase awareness, and drive market share for assigned product responsibilities.
Conduct and maintain market research, output research report and suggestion scheme, provide decision basis for product development and marketing business.
Conduct user research, collect and analyze user needs, and coordinate with users, R&D, downstream marketing, sales to determine product positioning and competitive advantages.
Participate in product development process and product life cycle management, input requirements and define products, participate in review and acceptance, assist downstream marketing and sales departments to complete new product launch, market management.
Develop and drive product marketing plans, including segmentation, competitive strategy, selling strategies, and promotional program development with a metrics-based approach to measure effectiveness of marketing tactics to drive plan refinement.
Work with the regions to execute on phase in, phase out plans & play the lead role in monitoring portfolio mix shift to plan.
Approximately 30-50%; some international travel will be required as needed What will you need to be successful? Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a business, marketing or engineering discipline.
Masters in related field or MBA desired.
Minimum 5 years of professional commercial, marketing or engineering experience is required Minimum 3 years product management or commercial experience within Orthopedics; experience in Shoulder arthroplasty strongly desired.
Proven ability to effectively position, message, and negotiate product requirements with the engineering team.
Experience in the development of business cases, return on investment and key performance indicators for new products You Unlimited.
