Monroeville Apartments, with over 1,000 rental homes in Monroeville is currently seeking a *Leasing Consultant *to assist prospective new residents and existing residents with all aspects of the leasing and move in process.
High commission potential, leasing for multiple communities in a 4-mile radius in Monroeville.
*Position Title: Leasing Consultant*
Position Reports to: Multifamily Leasing Manager
Schedule: Full-Time, Hourly Rate + *PLUS COMMISSIONS.
* M-F, every other Saturday and occasional overtime as required.
*Position Requirements:*
* Effective communication skills including active listening, verbal, non-verbal and written.
* Strong phone, sales, and presentation skills, previous leasing, or sales experience a plus.
* Must be customer service oriented with a helpful demeanor, exhibit clear communication skills, and maintain a friendly and positive attitude.
* Ability to multi-task while working in a fast-paced environment.
* Moderate computer skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Property management system experience a plus.
* Strict attention to detail.
* Reliable transportation and Valid Driver’s License required.
* Professional attire/dress required.
* Real Estate (Salesperson) licensing.
Will need to be obtained within the initial six months of employment, if not currently licensed.
*Accountability Objectives:*
Consistent conversion of leads to leases per established company standards, assisting prospective and existing residents within all aspects of the Leasing process.
*Job Dimensions- Essential Duties and Responsibilities:*
* Prompt response to leasing inquiries via phone, email, and walk-in
* Responsible to obtain the name, phone number, and/or email for all leads and enter lead data into Lead & Resident Management Software
* Set tour appointments and conduct tours with prospect(s) at multiple communities.
* Ensures that follow-up is conducted with prospective applicants per company standards.
* Assist prospect(s) with the deposit and application process.
* Assist and guide future residents through the move in process.
* Ensures that all lease requirements and community rules and regulations are observed by new applicants and residents.
* Completes lease agreements and move-in paperwork, ensures accuracy of move in paperwork.
* Provides superior customer service to prospective and existing residents.
* Assist and support Assistant Managers as needed.
* Participates in recorded leasing calls, leasing training and progressive performance improvement.
Participates in regular Fair Housing Training as assigned.
* Reports any deficiencies or lease violations observed on-site to the Property Manager.
* Assist and support the Senior Property Manager and Director of Operations as needed.
* Perform any other tasks as directed by Senior Property Manager and or Director of Operations.
*Physical Requirements:*
Frequently required to walk long distances within the community/properties and routinely climb stairs.
Regularly required to sit for long periods of time although frequently required to stand, bend, reach overhead and occasionally lift office products, home decorations, etc.
up to 25 lbs.
Frequently required to talk and hear in order to communicate and exchange information via phone, computer, and/or other electronic device, and have the ability to see both near and far with or without accommodation.
