GE Vernova’s Power Conversion business is looking for an intern to work on improving our internal and external communications and brand recognition.
What is Power Conversion? Great question, which many people ask.

The ideal candidate will be a quick and creative thinker, have unusual ideas, an eye for detail, highly organized, and enjoy working independently as much as in a team environment.
This position will focus on our US offices, with special emphasis on our Pittsburgh Manufacturing location.
Some collaboration with global marketing and communications team possible, dealing with last minute changes and ability to quickly develop a Plan B!
Job Description
If you are passionate about:
Developing a story and or a concise message with pieces of information
Creating exciting social media Pages
State-of-the art PowerPoint presentations
Designing advertising materials, flyers and brochures, respecting our corporate design
Design and implementation of icons, banners, posters and other communication tools
for web, social media and printing
Participation in the organization of events and their media support
Internship will be up to 20 hours a week for 3 to 6 months, with the ability to extend desired.
Desired Qualifications:
Excellent oral and written expression in English - any additional language a plus!
Solid knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint, especially its capabilities for interactive animation functionalities
Exposure to using content management systems for digital applications
Reliable transportation to be able to commute to and from GE Vernova's facility in Pittsburgh, PA.
Requirements:
Must be enrolled in a full-time undergraduate or graduate program in pursing a degree in Communications, Marketing, Media/Multimedia, or a comparable program
Must maintain a minimum 3.
0 cumulative GPA (without rounding).
Must be willing to take a drug test as part of the selection process
Must be willing to submit to a background investigation as part of the selection process
Must be 18 years of age or older
Must be able to develop and maintain good customer relationships
Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
Must be willing to work in geographical area specified by the business
Must have the ability to work in the US for an unlimited amount of time without sponsorship
