The Sr.
Solutions Architect works as part of the services delivery team.
The Solutions Architect plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between business needs and the TrueAuto solutions.
This person will act as a technical & business consultant who work closely with clients to understand their challenges, analyze their requirements, and design and work with the delivery team to successfully implement the optimal TrueAuto solution.
This role is responsible for gathering, interpreting, and translating business requirements from TrueAuto clients.
The person in this role will interact with the sales/ presales team and review business and technical needs collected during the sales process for use in project planning and delivery.
The Sr.
Solutions Architect will make sure we have a solution and executable project plan to meet the budget and timelines of the project.
This role conducts/participates in various discovery, business process & integration workshops to make sure we understand the client’s needs, collect the details on how the TrueAuto solution will be used, identify gaps and work with project management team to help plan and successfully deliver the project.
The solutions architects will mentor implementation & integration specialists that are involved in the project and may directly manage certain members of the delivery team.
This role is hybrid (if near Columbus, OH or Pittsburgh, PA) or a remote opportunity if not within that specific area.
As a Sr.
Solutions Architect, you will: Understand client needs Acts as liaison between the customer, pre-sales, delivery, and product teams.
Understands direction of the client’s business and how the TrueAuto application can be utilized to support it.
Gather requirements: Through meetings, interviews, and workshops, the Solution Architect gets a holistic understanding of the client's business goals, challenges, and existing infrastructure.
Analyze pain points: They identify the specific issues hindering the client's success and assess their impact on operations and how TrueAuto can be used to solve these challenges.
Define solution and success metrics: In collaboration with the client and project manager, they establish clear criteria for measuring the effectiveness of the proposed solution.
Design and propose solutions The Solution Architect stays updated on the latest TrueAuto application capabilities, related technologies and tools, assessing their suitability and fit for the client's needs and budget.
Craft solution architecture blueprints and business workflows: They design the functional and technical architecture of the solution, outlining how its fits into the client’s business processes, identify the necessary solution components, required integrations, any in scope product gaps and deployment strategy.
Suggests innovative solutions to address technical or customer related problems while staying within the boundaries of the TrueAuto application.
Present proposals: Clearly and concisely present the proposed solution internally for inclusion in the project plan and help present to the client, highlighting its benefits, feasibility, and impact on their business objectives.
Collaborate with key stakeholders to create & or review functional requirements including detailed specifications of expected functionality, screen mock-ups, business requirements and rules and expected outcomes sufficient for the delivery and/or development team.
Implement and manage solutions Collaborate with client and project management, product management and delivery teams: They work closely with the delivery team specialists to ensure the solution is implemented effectively and adheres to the blueprint.
Identify any potential TrueAuto gaps that should be part of the TrueAuto application.
They will also callout any gaps/requested features that should not be part of the TrueAuto application and should be addressed by another application.
Review prioritized product deliverables, intended to address critical application gaps that are defined by product management to make sure the proposed features will deliver the expected functionality, deliver the expected outcomes and be suitable for use by other customers.
Assist with training the customer on the solution as well as internal team members for new capabilities so the delivery team is prepared to rollout the new capabilities Requirements for success: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field preferred 10+ years’ experience working in the automotive manufacturing / supply chain space.
Experience with EDI, MRP, ERP and related automotive manufacturing solutions as used by automotive OEMS and tier 1 or tier 2 parts manufactures who sell to OEM manufacturers.
Experience working with automotive supply chain technologies including B2B integration, inventory management, warehouse management, demand forecasting and analytics Willingness and experience speaking with customers and ability to travel to customer, partner and tradeshow events Ability to communicate inputs and ideas within collaborative ad-hoc design sessions, presentations, and in written form to a range of audiences with wide ranges of technical knowledge and ability Ability to understand and communicate at the right level of technical sophistication.
This can range from discussing underlying business drivers with a customer to discussing software design and the design goals with a partner, services or development.
