Job description:
Responsibilities
* Implement sales strategy and utilize technical sales experience in refractory sales and services
* Identify new customers who might benefit from company products and/or capabilities
* Develop long-term relationships with clients through managing and interpreting their requirements
* Develop strategies that effectively offer customers products or services that best satisfies their needs in terms of quality, price and delivery
* Provide pre-sales technical assistance and product education, and after-sales support services
* Meet regular sales targets and effectively coordinates sales projects
* Make technical presentations and demonstrate how a product meets customer needs
* Organizational skills and ability to self-manage a must
* Ability to build relationships quickly and effectively
Desired Skills and Experience Qualifications
* Minimum 2-3 years of proven, technical sales experience, preferably in refractories, is a must
* Type A, driven type of personality with a desire to “hunt” for new Sales opportunities
* Ideal candidate will possess established relationships within the refractory industry
* College degree is a plus but not a must
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) are required
* Key values include a positive attitude, strong work ethic, being a team player and commitment to high standards of excellence and customer satisfaction
* Willing and able to travel
* Computer experience

The ideal candidates will be located in New Jersey or Ohio areas and possess technical sales, refractory sales preferred.
