Are you an experienced marketing specialist with a passion for the outdoors and travel? A local travel agency in the Gibsonia area is looking for a marketing specialist to join their team!
The applicant will work directly with and under the supervision of our existing marketing staff and management.
Must work well in a team environment, be able to take direction with confidence and have an interest in learning.
Pay rate: $19-$21/hour
Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
An ideal candidate for this role would:
* Be passionate about the outdoors
* _*Have existing knowledge about fly fishing and/or wing shooting*_
* Be a team player
* Be comfortable with a hybrid work schedule (some time in the office, some time remote)
Requirements:
* Minimum 1-3 years of experience in the marketing or travel fields
* Experience developing various aspects of marketing campaigns and initiatives
* Proficient with Adobe Creative Suit
* Understanding of WordPress and theme editing a plus!
* Understanding of UX/UI a plus!
Responsibilities:
* Assist with updating the company websites and blogs.
* Working within our image library of over 50,000 images including organization, editing and post-processing.
* Function as a digital media and design liaison between marketing, internal departments and external contractors.
* Copyreading
* Assist with tradeshow planning and preparation.
* Assist with website maintenance, per request and proactively, including: destination/trip details, image placement, featured sections, company/staff information, navigational reliability, and database management.
* Code and embed multimedia videos onto website.
* Online Marketing (Email, Blog & Social Media)
* Modify WordPress templates, monitor updates and maintain structural integrity of blogs.
* Provide design support for social media programs.
* Provide assistance organizing the image library including: structural logistics, information collection, search ability /usability, and metadata integrity.
* Edit or manipulate images using Photoshop, as needed.
* Fulfill interdepartmental image requests and distribution.
* Assists in designing layouts for in-house flyers and print advertisements.
