*Position Summary*
The Sales and Marketing Manager represents the company’s brand corporate reputation, and drives strategies to increase product awareness and create a competitive advantage in the market that results in profitable sales.
:
* Develop and maintain relationships with potential and existing customers.
* Research and develop marketing opportunities and plans, understanding customer requirements.
* Promote the company’s existing brands and introduce new products/applications to the market.
* Adopt and build on the company’s philosophies.
* Identify market trends and suggest improvements to achieve marketing goals.
* Manage and direct campaigns to include, but not limited to, advertisements, press releases, social media, webinars, events and promotional material.
* Develop and implement short and long-term marketing programs.
* Develop and implement strategies for sales.
* Attend national and international trade shows.
* Apply knowledge of product and application features to match the needs of customers.
* Answer inquiries from customers concerning products and applications, their uses, and the industry at large.
* Provide information, quotes, credit terms, and other bid specifications to customers.
* Negotiate prices, terms of sales, and/or service agreements; prepare contracts and submit orders.
* Collaborate with Production Manager and other staff to confirm that orders are processed with accuracy and efficiency and that products are distributed properly.
* Periodically prepare and report results, status of accounts.
*Experience and Qualifications:*
* Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
* Minimum five years technical products and applications experience.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Excellent sales and negotiation skills.
* Knowledge of technical product sales and applications.
* Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with customers.
* Occasional travel to meet with customers, potential customers and attend trade shows.
