Bartenders

· Greets and welcomes guests.
· Takes and prepares drink orders for customers.
Helps patrons select food by presenting menu, suggesting courses, explaining specials and answering preparation questions.
· In addition to customer service, bartenders must also act as bar backs.
· Specific duties include keeping a clean work station, interfacing with customers, serving drinks, and ringing up sales.
Most bartenders work on foot and stand for hours at a time.
· Bartender jobs require basic mathematic skills and the ability to effectively communicate with customers in a friendly manner.
Bartenders also obtain revenues by totaling charges; issuing bill; accepting payment; returned change or credit card and signature slip to patrons.
· Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
