You Are: Accenture is seeking a collaborative and results-oriented Procurement Practice Sourcing Associate Manager with expertise in a wide range of Marketing categories, to work with Fortune 500 clients to develop and execute sourcing strategies, develop sourcing and procurement solutions that are designed to drive spend and savings, and incorporate vendor management metrics that’ll support our client’s goals while achieving optimal pricing, quality and service levels.
In this role, you lead sourcing projects, including all key steps such as strategy development, supplier negotiation, award recommendations, business case presentations, and supplier contract execution.
We are looking for an individual with experience within Marketing procurement and experience across key subcategories, including, but not limited to Media, Agencies, Market Research, Event Marketing, Digital, and Production.
The Work: Lead strategic sourcing projects, including all key steps such as strategy development, supplier negotiation, award recommendations, business case presentations and supplier contract execution Identify cost/productivity improvement opportunities in Marketing subcategories across multiple clients Build trusted stakeholder relationships on client accounts and develop key client stakeholder relationship mapping Develop Marketing subcategory insights and material, including engagement across clients and proactive engagement in the marketplace and trade press and share as best practice Design and develop relevant RFP documents for projects or make recommendations for incumbent negotiations; Drive and manage analytical efforts in areas specific to business function and industry focus Negotiate agreements with suppliers and incorporate best practice metrics for agreements to aid the Category Management process in SRM activities (May be responsible for contracting negotiated agreement) Grow category knowledge, refreshing and maintaining content and training and developing more junior members of the team Work with Manager to expand business development skills to identify and propose account growth opportunities for additional sourcing services Demonstrate a clear understanding of the full buying process including the execution and buying channels to ensure continued end to end sourcing support across client engagements Here's what you need: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience A minimum of 5 years of experience in consulting, sourcing/procurement/supply chain management function or internal Marketing function A minimum of 3 years of experience in managing complex Marketing Services multiple regions, and multiple market strategies from design through to implementation Bonus Points If: Post-Graduate degree preferred Experience and knowledge across multiple Marketing subcategories Ability to effectively lead formal strategic sourcing efforts related to all Marketing services categories within the context of integrated Plan, Source, Make and Deliver supply chain processes.
