You Are: A Sales and Solution Lead – SAM.
The Software Asset Sales Lead will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth by leading a team of sales professionals focused on selling software asset management solutions.
This position will be based in the United States and will require strong leadership, sales acumen, and a deep understanding of software licensing and asset management.
Key Responsibilities: Team Leadership and Management: Recruit, train, and lead a team of software asset sales representatives.
Own the Practice growth targets and set clear sales targets and performance expectations for the team.
Provide ongoing coaching, mentoring, and feedback to develop team members' skills and abilities.
Sales Strategy and Planning: Provide oversight and governance to all functions ( except ATCI and ATCP ) during US hours and acts as a point of escalation Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue targets.
Collaborate with various other teams in Accenture to align sales efforts with overall practice objectives.
Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
Understand customer needs and tailor solutions to meet their specific requirements.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
Product Knowledge and Expertise: Possess a deep understanding of the Accenture software products and licensing models.
Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies related to software asset management.
Sales Process Management: Oversee the entire sales process from prospecting to closing deals.
Monitor and track sales activities, pipeline, and revenue forecasts using CRM tools.
Ensure accurate and timely reporting of sales metrics and performance.
Negotiation and Contract Management: Lead negotiations with customers to secure contracts and agreements.
Work closely with legal and finance teams to ensure compliance with Accenture policies and terms.
Sales Collateral and Presentations: Collaborate with marketing teams to develop sales collateral, presentations, and other materials to support sales efforts.
Ensure that the sales team is equipped with the necessary resources to effectively engage with clients.
Travel may be required for this role.

What You’ll Need: Minimum 8+ years’ experience with software asset management Minimum 5+ years’ experience in Sales and solutioning.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience.
