*Real Estate Marketing Manager* Reports to: Director of Program Operations Tri-COG Land Bank (TCLB) is seeking a Real Estate Marketing Manager to be responsible for all TCLB property sales.
The position will include outreach, marketing, and buyer relations for properties owned by TCLB.
TCLB was born out of years of research and advocacy seeking to address the prevalent problem of abandoned properties in Allegheny County.
These properties materially harm communities by creating health and safety hazards and depleting public resources that could otherwise be spent on infrastructure and social programs.
TCLB is a tool to reclaim these properties and steward them back to productive, community-supported uses such as homeownership, affordable housing, green space, and more.
As a growing land bank that is both locally and nationally recognized for its innovative approach and programs, TCLB currently operates in 28 municipalities and nine school districts.
This position plays a crucial role in TCLB’s operations, with opportunities to grow with the organization as we expand over the coming years.
*Property Marketing* _Develop a proactive marketing approach for TCLB properties that includes creating a strong online presence for listed properties, connecting with people in the community to promote TCLB’s work, and building relationships with new prospective homebuyers and developers.
_ * Prepare engaging and accurate property descriptions and photo showcases to list TCLB properties for sale.
* Routinely conduct zoom and/or in person information sessions to help prospective buyers understand the TCLB application process.
* Respond to questions from prospective property buyers and host regular office hours to assist with completing applications.
* Provide information about the land bank and its processes to local Realtors and Brokers to maintain ongoing relationships with buyers’ agents.
* Work with communications staff and vendors to develop and routinely update outreach materials on TCLB properties, programs, and financial resources for buyers.
* Update TCLB’s website and send email newsletters to promote newly listed properties.
* Identify opportunities, such as local media, community forums, and referrals from partners, to raise public awareness of available properties.
* Represent TCLB and SRCOG at local community meetings and events to increase visibility in the community.
*Property Stewardship* _Maintain relationships with interested buyers and steward applications through the closing process.
_ * Schedule and manage property showings for prospective homebuyers.
* Review applications submitted by interested purchasers for eligibility and to ensure TCLB properties are sold to responsible owners.
* Maintain relationships with TCLB buyers after closing to track progress of renovations, to create marketing materials, and to further TCLB community engagement.
* Steward properties through closing and maintain communication with approved applicants.
*Qualifications* * Minimum of five years of work experience in customer service, community outreach, marketing, local government, community development, real estate, or similar fields.
* Superior organizational skills; ability to set priorities and work on multiple projects simultaneously.
* Aptitude for customer service.
* Ability to work collaboratively as well as independently.
* Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with multiple audiences, including racially, ethnically, and socioeconomically diverse communities.
* Strong communication skills: oral, written, proofreading, editing, and presentation.
* Must have use of a personal vehicle.
*Salary & Benefits* Salary Range: $50,000 - $55,000 (based on experience) This is a regular full-time position in a supportive and collaborative work environment.

_The SRCOG and TCLB are distinct and separate organizations that share staffing services.
SRCOG is the primary employer.
While the majority of the work in this position will support the TCLB, some duties may also support the SRCOG.
_ *Steel Rivers Council of Governments* Steel Rivers Council of Governments works throughout its nineteen member municipalities to coordinate efforts and implement programs that address regional challenges.
SRCOG provides shared resources and services to alleviate burdens on local governments.
SRCOG operates a training complex for police departments, provides street sweeping services, and administers grant funding.
In response to the prevalence of blighted properties throughout the region, SRCOG co-founded the Tri-COG Land Bank in 2017.
*Tri-COG Land Bank* Tri-COG Land Bank works to equitably transition abandoned properties to beneficial reuse that promotes community stability and resiliency alongside our members, partners, and residents in the communities we serve.
The organization was born out of years of research and advocacy seeking to address the prevalent problem of vacant and abandoned properties in Allegheny County.
TCLB works closely with its 38 members, which are municipalities, school districts, and Allegheny County, to identify local priorities, engage community members, and respond to emerging needs identified by elected officials and municipal staff.
To date TCLB has owned a total of 122 properties, with 63 of those sold to new owners.
Job Type: Full-time Pay: $50,000.
