Leasing Consultants have the exciting job of helping people find their perfect apartment home!
Bayshore Properties currently has an opening for a *Leasing Consultant* to join our team at Berkley Manor Apartments, a 252-unit market rate apartment community located in Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania.
This position will manage the leasing/sales process from start-to-finish.
You will create and build relationships with potential residents, conduct property tours, and find new & exciting ways to market your property.
You will also assist the property manager with resident relations; including assisting with the application and move-in process, any issues the residents might have while living with us and conducting lease renewals.
To succeed in this role, you must have excellent sales skills in person / over the phone, customer focus and be able to work weekends.
*Leasing Consultant Responsibilities:*
* Provide excellent customer service to residents and prospective residents, and maintain a positive attitude
* Provide a professional and engaging experience for prospects while touring the apartment homes and community
* Maintain consistent resident retention with a focus on renewal of leases and resolution of resident conflicts and problems
* Develop a strong rapport with residents, and be able to enforce community rules and regulations as necessary
* Process applications and lease renewals, and complete all related paperwork accurately and correctly
* Proactively manage sales, outreach, and lead generation, converting leads into sales
* Work with the maintenance department to ensure apartment turnovers are completed on time
* Recognize opportunities for problem resolution and establishing good customer relations
* Recognize trends in customer issues and advise management
*Leasing Consultant Qualifications:*
* High School diploma or equivalent is required, a college degree is preferred
* Previous customer service experience, leasing and/or sales experience is preferred; apartment industry or real estate experience, a plus
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Strong organizational skills
* Customer-focused approach
* Motivated self-starter with the ability to work well in a fast-paced, team environment
* Knowledge of property and lead management software
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, specifically Word and Excel
* Valid Drivers License with reliable transportation
*Physical Requirements:*
* Lift and carry up to 20 pounds;
* Alternate sitting / standing; keyboarding
* Bend/stoop, climb stairs, walking consistently during shift
* Has normal range of vision, hearing and speech
