For sale locally, my Washburn AV-15 in red, hard case (case is for an Ibanez Iceman but fits this guitar well.
The Washburn cases for these are harder to find than the guitars).
This guitar is in good shape considering it is at least 40 years old.
I do not have the year this guitar was made but this model was only made for a few years in the early/mid 80s.
There are a few cosmetic flaws being a pretty old guitar, but it is in overall good condition.
I'm looking to sell it simply because I have other guitars that I play a lot more, but I have gigged with it plenty and it plays and sounds just fine.
These guitars were made to play more of a metal style, as you can tell from the way it looks, and that's not my playing style so I just don't use it as much as I would like.
Upon getting this guitar a few years back, I did swap out the neck and bridge pickups for Seymour Duncan rails.
So, those pickups are upgraded but the middle one is original.
I also had the nut replaced and had it set up and had some of the electronics upgraded.
Mostly simple things, but I did some upgrades to this guitar.
I put a locking strap on it too, that is included as well.
Original whammy bar (removable) included.
I think this guitar is pretty cool.
It looks really unique, plays well and sounds good.
I would still gig with it.
Anytime I play it out, people ask about it.
Price can be tough to figure out for these as they do not come up for sale very often.
I am asking for what I paid for the guitar not considering the case + upgrades to it.
In my opinion it is in a lot better shape than when I got it.
I can very easily remove the sticker and clean it up if you want, or leave it on there if you like that.
Let me know if you have any questions.
