1924 Gibson A4 Snakehead Mandolin w/ Original HSC Serial# 75917 FON# 11897 Stunning example of a Loar-era beauty! No cracks or damage other than some fret wear.
Original Arrowhead tuners, bridge base, pick guard.
Original hard shell case is in excellent condition, as well! “Closet-find” mandolin.
Still had the vintage silver plated strings in the case.
Original everything except bridge saddle which had a crack.
Saddle was replaced with a Cumberland Acoustic saddle.
I doubt that you’ll find one better! I do not want to ship this mandolin…and prefer a local sale.
