Duties and Responsibilities
Keep truck clean inside and out.
Check vehicle to ensure that mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order.
Drives truck in a safe manner at all times, always wearing safety belt.
Drives truck to jobs and successfully completes customer requests in a professional timely manner.
Report maintenance problems to mechanic.
Keep in close contact with supervisor, assuring that supervisor knows location at all times.
Maintains telephone contact with supervisor to receive instructions or be dispatched to new location.
Follow appropriate safety procedures for transporting material to and from the dumping site.
Transports loads greater than 3 tons.
Maintains logs of working hours and of vehicle service and repair status, following applicable state and federal regulations.
Keeps record of materials transported.
Obtain receipts or signatures for delivered goods and collect payment for services when required.
Wear all required and necessary Personal Protective Equipment.
Help with maintenance of truck and equipment i.
e.
(greasing small repairs, etc.
)
Must have current Commercial Drivers License with Tanker Endorsement
Must have an acceptable driving record.
Must have a medical card.
Must pass a drug test.
Willing to labor on outside plant projects when needed

Physical Requirements
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to do the following:
Lift and move a minimum of 50 pounds without assistance.
Climb a ladder to a height of at least 20 feet.
Walk, kneel, bend, stoop, stand and climb stairs.
Stand for long periods of time.
Wear appropriate safety equipment.
Utilize fine motor coordination, clear speech, and good visual acuity.
Travel by car and/or truck.
Use ladders and scaffolds.
Work at heights and in inclement weather.
Coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously.
Collect, interpret, and/or analyze complex data and information.
Understand and respond to a diverse population.
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to the following:
A large percentage of work time is spent working outdoors where the temperatures are cool/warm and noise level can be moderate to high.
Exposure to working in wet and humid conditions.
Work near moving mechanical parts.
Able to work Confined Space Entry
