How will you make an impact?
With your strong technical foundation in the principals of software engineering, you will develop applications and control software to support our Chemical Analysis instrumentation products.
You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop and deliver best-in-class scientific solutions.
What will you do?
Collaborate within a development team to design, implement, and maintain applications software used to support a product line
Actively participate in all aspects of the development lifecycle including requirements development, design activities, implementation, maintenance and support
How will you get here?
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field; Master’s degree preferred
Experience
5+ years of software development experience using C#/.
NET for Windows Applications
Experienced in software architectural and detailed design
Experienced following a software development lifecycle
Preferred Experience
Experience developing application software that communicates with instrumentation/devices, including knowledge of different communication protocols
Experience with databases
Experience with software unit, integration, and performance testing
Experience with Git
Experience following an agile development methodology, and use of work management software such as Jira
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Strong understanding of software engineering fundamentals and object-oriented programming skills
Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively in a multi-functional matrix environment, and work in partnership with development, product management, project management, operations, and services
Excellent analytical problem-solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communication
